We recognise that WPA and Protocol have a responsibility beyond simply providing exemplary levels of service to our customers."
ISO 14001
WPA is one of the first companies in the UK to be awarded full accreditation for ISO 14001. We make every effort, as part of our general efficiency, to have a low carbon foot print and to produce as little waste as possible not least by being an effectively paperless office.
ISO 14001 is the internationally recognised Standard for Environmental Management Systems and is one of the highest benchmarks in environmental management and best practice.
Our Environmental Management System (EMS) at WPA has enabled us to identify where we can have an impact upon the environment and has given us a framework in which we can mitigate this impact.
ISO 14001 makes great environmental and business sense. Every penny we now save through energy efficiency or waste minimisation is reinvested within the company to improve service to our customers our reason for being. This is an important consideration given the wider global context of rapidly rising energy prices, sourced from increasingly unstable regions of the world.

PACT
The WPA charitable foundation, Parents and Children Together (PACT) has a history dated back to 1940. The Trustees of the Foundation use its assets for the benefit of sick children and their immediate families who are in financial difficulties.
On a day-to-day level, the foundation can contribute toward travel and living expenses of those qualifying families who are experiencing acute financial hardship due to their child's unexpected illness and/or prolonged medical attention.
We are passionate about continuing to provide exemplary levels of support for families enduring distressing and vulnerable times. PACT commits to treat each request for assistance on an individual basis, recognising that no two family circumstances are ever the same; to provide sympathetic and practical support in a sensitive manner to those less fortunate than ourselves.

Tsunami
Rather than donate money to Tsunami Charities, we set about building some houses ourselves.
